However, the people of France were determined that their own enemy was to suffer, and that, she did internally. Imagining the torture of having an expiration date branded to your identity, without having the privilege to say her final good-byes to her loved ones, is something I would not wish upon my worst enemy. Despite the complexity of the Revolution and its uprising within the French kingdom, the verdict of Marie Antoinette’s fate was simple, being a long road traveled by the Queen to her unfortunate destination of death. ![]()
